I've got an Ambassadeur 522 baitcast reel that I can find NO information on throughout the Internet, and I've decided to sell it. Got the reel about 8+ years ago and I would classify it as between good and great condition with a couple small nicks.

Says it'll hold 140 yards of 20 lb test, and it has one of those magnetic dealibobs on the side that you dial in to supposedly keep it from backlashing on ya.

My father swore by these back then and he fished them a helluva lot. What would be a good price for this? Any suggestions would be appreciated, and I could always use my QuickCam to take pictures if necessary.

Fobb, I've never seen a 522, but I have a 521 XLT that I really like for steelhead. Mine has a flipping switch, and a quick-change spool feature. The 521 size holds about 125-150 yards of 12 lb. test. My dad gave me this reel several years ago, so I have no idea what it cost new. (My dad didn't like the thumb bar release, he prefers the classic Ambassadeurs) Sorry I can't help with the price!
