It's a 1979 Valco 14' jetsled w/ez loader trailer. I've done alot of work with trailer. Iit's not galvanized, but has been shot with galvanized paint. The boat is 6 1/2 ft wide! Has a 75 hp Evinrude. I don't know hours or year on motor but it runs excellent and looks superb under motor cover. Has forward controls/electric start. Has all running lights. Has closed bow w/walk through windshield. Has a top that snaps onto windshield but has no side shields. Has oarlocks, bilge pump, 12 gallon main tank with 6 gallon reserve, life vests, flares, fire extinguisher, boat bumpers, kicker mounting bracket, and river anchor w/hand winch.

This is an all welded boat. It's not your typicle Valco with a riveted hull. You must see it to really appreciate this boat. Iit's very decieving to it's true size. You won't be disappointed. I'll even throw in a Johnson kicker. It needs work but if you're good with small motors you should be ble to get it going again.

Now to get the free boat, you have to pay #3900.00 for the ignition keys. smile But I'll take any serious offers.

Jerry, next time you are in our neighborhood, you may be able to twist "Padre's" arm into taking a look at your sled. You probably know Padre as S. Novotney on this board. I know he has mentioned it a few times, maybe one day you can tow it behind the UPS truck and leave it in my driveway for him to check out....JK of course.
It does sound like a nice boat for using in some of the medium sized rivers around here. But in your best interest, you should really melt it down and recycle it......you know there are getting to be way too many sleds out there, to run you "catters" over. But that is another thread to start over. LOL
If you are in the Neighborhood before 10:30 and the truck is home, I am home, just knock.

Sorry guys, gotta buy the keys to take the boat. smile

Actually, I'm out deliverinng the Key Ppeninsula for Xmas. Ben bringing my bug rod and hitting the doggies over at Minter. I've talked with OTHER steve a few times. Even stopped by his house. You haven't been home last couple times Ii've been by.

Ii'm hoping to get this thing sold. I just hate having to put it iin the boat trader.

I posted a picture in the visitors photo gallery. It's under bulletin board storage and is named jetsled. Mind you, this is what my sled looked like when I first bought it. You can see it's shape, but looks NOTHING like it now. I took all the white paint off and upgraded seats, redid trailer, and lots of other misc. This way you get an idea of it's design.
