Bill Redell, coach at Oaks Christian, said Montana "is very fast. He's got great feet. He's not necessarily going to run, but he can throw it on the run. He's similar to his dad in how he can throw on the run. He's got a strong arm and great touch and he's very intelligent. He's a very good leader and he's popular with the other players."

With Montana going to UW and Heaps leaving, there could be some fans at the Skyline-Oaks Christian game who may feel compelled to root for the team from out of the state.

Elways kid was not that great and really was only playing ball because of his dad. 10th round, it sounds like he might sign but has until Aug 17. If he does he cannot hire an agent and he loses his scholarship but the Angels would pay for his school and retain his rights for 6 years so he could start playing after his senior season.

As much as I really enjoy watching the Dogs do their impression of the Pac 10 door mat, it would seem they need 5 or 6 guys that can block, before they worry about doing anything with the ball.
