I don't watch enough TV to subscribe to premium channels like HBO or Showtime. So I only learned recently about Weeds which is on Showtime. My GF's daughter suggested we rent it from Netflix, so we did. It's R rated and is the funniest TV show I've ever seen. Totally different format, but as many laughs per minute as Laugh In or Smothers Brothers, if you're that old.

I rarely, or never, recommend TV. This show is funny!

Try "Breaking Bad", that runs on AMC. Dark humor at its finest.

Weeds good stuff.

They all have great writers.I also love Rescue Me.

We don't get any channels as I refuse to pay for television. I pretty much figured I'd never need anything more than Simpsons and Seinfeld but I'll give Weeds a shot if I ever get the chance, just because you recommended it.

Are Breaking Bad and Rescue Me on DVD from Netflix? We already have basic cable and internet; I'm not going to subscribe to premium channels even for a show that I like.

Don't know if Rescue Me is on netflicks but I would assume so. Awesome show.

Rescue me is on Channel 53 on comcast.Thats the FX channel.I think it comes with basic cable.
