I have inherited quite a bit of old fishing equipment from my father. It is fly fishing equipment, mostly, and I don't fly fish. I was going to try to sell them, but don't have any idea how much I should ask...or whether they're worth much. Is there someone here who could help? I have a Fenwick Legacy fly rod in a nylon carrying case; I have a Fenwick 8.5 foot 3 7/8 oz fly rod that uses a #7 fly line; and I have a SouthBend 290 bamboo rod 7.5 foot, with two reels and metal carrying case, that uses an E or HDH line. That's as much information as I can find printed on them. The SouthBend doesn't look as though it was used much, if at all. The Fenwick is also in top condition. The Legacy has a worn handle. I also have a box of 9 reels--a number of old Shimanos, a Daiwa Millionairre and several others that are hard to identify. If there is anyone who can help me, or tell me where to look to find pricing, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

fmd, post this on the main fishing board, and include pics of all the stuff if you can...it's the first thing folks will ask for.

Good luck!

Fish on...
