30 years ago I attempted some of those jumps, after a couple trips to the ER I took up fishing.

I think the biggest improvement on bikes are the disc brakes. They make a huge difference in enabling really good bike riders to become great by increasing the ability to control the action.
Not that they help me much but then I'm a codger.

Man that guy is good!! One year at the end of the Seattle to Portland bike ride, among the finish line entertainment in the park across from Lloyd Center was a kid who could ride like that - well almost. I didn't see him do any drops over one story high. But he could do the jump up onto a fence and then jump up into a tree on one wheel, etc. He didn't do the loop dee loop either. But it was very impressive to watch while having a beer after riding 2005 miles.

No wonder I was so darn tired! Oops, hit one too many zeros. It was a 205 mile ride. I've outgrown that urge tho, one day rides over 100 miles are too much like work, or maybe I'm beginning to feel like my age.

Mad Skilz!

I wouldn't want to do that to my Intense 5.5... even if I could.
