Two weeks off work, just what the Dr ordered. Couldn't fish the whole time though, had to do a bit of hiking. Seven days in the Olympics with the girl. Started in rain/snow mix at Deer Park near Port Angeles.

Went up the Greywolf, down into the Dosiwallops, over into the Elway, and back down the Cameron. Fifty mph winds and rain/snow at Cameron pass (6400 ft).

After climbing back up the Deer Park (what's up with climbing 3000 ft to get to your car after hiking 40 miles?) we're ready to grab our fishin gear and head to Neah Bay.

First day was off the charts. Two hours of coho fishing I've ever seen. Double and triples but still had to work hard for our limits. I'd say ratio was 5:1 at the beginning of the week, put back some nice teenagers. Managed this 13.5 lber. Sorry about the ass shot.

The girlfriend with a nice one:

Overall, it was a great two weeks.
Back today in time for the hawks game, brining salmon, and enjoying an actual bed to sleep in.

Great coho season this year. Look forward to Sekiu non-selective next weekend!
