This gun has only been shot at the range since I've had it and I keep it all polished and shiny (every time I shoot it), but it would make a fine hunting gun if you left it tarnish up a little. It has some dark spots in the bore (hence the low price) that have been there since before I got it, but they don't seem to hurt its ability to shoot. I can usually print my 3-shot groups at 50yds inside an inch with its pet load. Upcoming house purchase means I have to clean out the ones I don't actually need, and this is one of them.
