Toss that pile of crap digital typewriter and join the 21st Century.

Get a Mac.

Or at least switch to Linux.

Run This First

If that did not kill it:

Then install and run this.

It's a free home version, all you have to do is register it, no strings.

It work's better than some I've paid big bucks for.

It's best to kill virus programs in safe mode. Reboot and keep tapping F8 until you get the screen to enter safe mode. Run this or your current anti-virus and then reboot. Hope this helps.

More often then not, the best solution when dealing with an infected PC is to nuke it from orbit and rebuild it from scratch.

That's what I basically do to 99% of all infected computers. Saves me time and I know I'm delivering a 100% clean PC.

Then again, I probably have a few more resources that the rest of you would not normally have to make that process a little more on the easier side.
