They come with the extra spool which are still factory packed and have not been used.

I wish those were 3500 I would suck them up.Been beating onthe regal z and x for at least eight years now.Great-simple reels.Break a bail spring and they will ship you a bag for free.

I don't know much about them but will they work for stealhead fishing?

They never let me down exept for the bail springs and I see they have adressed that publicly.They are a great steelhead reel.I like the 3500 just because of the bigger spool,drag and they counter my ten six better than the 2500,less back ache.

They are awsome for Steelhead they hold 140 yds. of 10# test, haven't been spooled yet.

I love the bigger spool because I believe that the bigger the spool the easiar the line comes of during casting and the more chance the drag has on the freight trains.I would highly recomend these reels though.
