Will trade for a Yamaha, Johnson, or Honda 6-8 HP longshaft 4-stroke. I do not know the year but I think it was built in the 1990's. The engine color is silver. I want to trade as this is more motor than I need - it is a kicker for my 17 ft. Arima. I would like to have a lighter engine with the same dependable reputation.

The engine wt#Would be about the same, have you thought about a smaller prop or a trolling plate may do the trick for you.

Hi Go Fish,
Thanks for the thought. I can troll down as slow as I want, I just don't like the extra weight and do not need this much power for trolling. I think my motor weighs about 110 lbs. I'm told the smaller motors weigh 70-80 lbs.
