I had a friend of mine send me these photos. The fisherman had caught a 36 in. Pike and was reeling it in when it was attacked by a 56 in. Pike.It refused to let go and he was able to net both fish at once. The 56 in. Pike was reported to weigh 56 lbs.Of course it is a fish story so who knows.

It's a tough world down there. I fished Lake Trout in Atlin Lake B.C. and caught lots of 5-15 pound fish. Almost everyone had tooth marks on it from bigger fish.

He is definitely "That guy." In more ways than one.....

Pike are awesome. I grew up fishing for them in northern MN, caught a number of them over twenty lbs.... When you brought them in the boat they would try and bite you. Mean sumbitches, to say the least...

my grandma lived just outside of International Falls, on Rainy Lake. It's a boundary water... Ft Frances, Ontario is on the other side. Killer pike fishing in the reed lined bays, great for walleye out in the middle, and good smallmouth fishing near the feeder streams.

i spent 6-8 weeks up there every summer, fishing from dark 'til dark. smile
