I don't know if these would do the job, but I saw a listing on another BB for 2 G1334-T's. They are Lamiglas Hotshot rods but they have about an 8 inch fiberglass tip bonded into it. I have talked to several people who like them better than the G1330-T's. The softer tip is supposed to allow the plugs to run better. Anyway, here is the link - G1334-T rods.

One disclaimer, I have 4 of the G1330-T's and none of the G1334-T's so I am only passing on hearsay about the quality of the rods for sale.
