209 isn't interchangable is it? I've got a 209 levelwind parts reel sitting in a drawer.

maybe have some options for your PENN.
u can send your existing reel to Ollie Damon's in Portland for servicing . They're the best reel servicing co. on the west coast. I got an ABu spinning reel and a Penn 320 in for servicing right now. They'll get ya set up. Might be easier on ya then waiting for a used 310 to pop up. Or u can get parts from them as well. They have exploded parts views on all newer reels on their website.

There is a guy in Sumner called the antique angler that has parts for penn reels.

you also can buy the parts brand new directly from Penn........

there are several on ebay under $30

I have a Penn 209 that is is great shape....good old reel. I'd sell it for $20. I have not had it on a rod in a few years...
