I used to have that boat....It was awesome for putting in places you couldn't launch a driftboat, but the tubes weren't very big and I don't know if I'd trust the little frame for serious water.

Spend the extra few hundy and get a two man Steelheader. Best two man boat you can buy...

Not a bad boat...but I wouldn't buy an ODC to run 90% of the rivers I like to fish...glorified two man float tube...sorry if I step on anyone's toes when I say that, but there's a reason why steel frames and hypalon tubes cost in the few thousand dollar range...used...and that boat with a trailer costs a bit more than I paid to build my trailer.

Is that a maxxon toon? It almost looks like a skookum, but it has the anchor tower.

Skookum? Heck, it is better than a Skookum for the reason you stated; it anchors much better because of the extended anchor mount.

It begs the question, what makes a Skookum? The frame or the Maxxon tubes?
