LOL I should have been a writer. I already have a few articles in my mind.

I think that the health and fitness industry has some of the worst writers, and ideas yet the industry is huge. Everyone who comes up with a hare-brained scheme can get a book published. I am going to write a 4 page book, written with big letters.
Page 1: EATING: DON'T EAT SO MUCH, AND EAT STUFF WITH A MAMA.
Page 2: RECIPES:IF IT LOOKS DIFFERENT THAN WHEN IT WAS KILLED OR PICKED DON'T EAT IT.
Page 3: EXERCISE: PICK UP HEAVY THINGS, PUT THEM DOWN, AND MOVE AROUND.
Page 4: PSYCHOLOGY: YOU DON'T HAVE A VALID EXCUSE.

My granddad used to say the same thing...except he called it "Hard Livin'." And the opposite of that "Clean Livin'." Looks like I'm gonna live forever. Could never stand cigarettes, don't drink anymore (and haven't for 7+ years), diet is dialed in, and I am training/working out daily. One thing that I've done recently (for the past 10 weeks) is to cut all sugar and artificial sweeteners. That was a tough one for me but now I feel so much better. No mid afternoon sugar crash, sleep better, lost some of my gut, and now I don't miss it at all. The average person consumes 200g of sugar daily and before I changed my eating habits I was probably double that. Now I'm at 15g or less/day and it has really made a difference.

A1C could be better though Get that number under 7, or you'll be under 6 pretty soon. My last one was 5.7, and that should even the scales out a little from all the smoking/drinking/sugar-eating that I do. Besides that, nobody likes a quitter.
