A man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at Lowe's Home Improvement store in Lynnwood Sunday afternoon, police said.

The man's handgun, which was in the waistband of his pants, went off at about 12:30 p.m. — an apparent "accidental discharge," according to Shannon Sessions, a Lynnwood police spokeswoman.

"It made a loud noise and scared a lot of people in the store," Sessions said. "I believe he shot himself in the testicles and he also had some injuries to his leg and foot. He was obviously in shock."

Nobody else was hurt and no one appeared to be with the man, she said.

Police and fire responded, and the man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle before police had a chance to interview him extensively. Sessions had no further details about the man.

Lynnwood police are continuing to investigate but "at this point it does look like it's accidental," Sessions said. A manager at Lowe's said store personnel are not commenting on the incident.

If you walk around with your piece pointing at your package, you deserve it.

Why is the fuktard walking around Lowe's with a gun stuck in his skivvies?

I hope he didn't get a chance to breed before blowing off his plumbing.

Wife says he probably doesn't have balls enough to do that again. Very quick reply to my reading the story. Just gave the anti-gun nuts some more ammunition.

That's the most ironic part of what this thread will likely turn to...gun nuts vs. anti-gun nuts...when the gun nuts biggest enemies are within their ranks, not politicians or anti-gun nuts. That's where I think the NRA really $hits the bed, it fails to ever concede that there might be a person, place, or situation that doesn't require a gun being locked and loaded and on the ready.

That attitude, more than any other, will eventually cause the very things that the NRA tweaks out about.

Seems like there oughta' be a Letterman's 10 reasons why you can tell this guy is a dipsh!t.

While most shoppers don't find it necessary to carry at the lumberyard or hardware store, some people carry routinely just because they can or because they have that healthy paranoia that indicates sh!t happens at the most unlikely times and places. But anyone who routinely carries everywhere, well I'd kinda' think they'd prefer a holster, of which there are numerous styles, to packing a revolver in the waistband of their pants. Just a short survey here, how many of you have ever carried a handgun in your waistband? OK, even if you have, this may not be the best moment to admit it.

$5 says he didn't have a CWP.

I dunno, as far as knowing ahead of time when and where a person is 100% safe from crime...that's the reason ya carry in the first place. Its not paranoid to be prepared. And the [censored] usually goes down when and where ya least expect it.
But this dude needed some training and a holster at least.
Or this: http://www.clipdraw.com/ (I recommend it)

Sounds like he'd go for this first, though: http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/glock-gag.html
