What the video. In no way does it show anything happening to the "pregnan0t" woman. What it does show is the army trying to clear out some women for an unknown reason. It then switches to the woman in question sitting down with several men trying to help her up. She collapses and instantly you see the men trying to help the situation. There is no way to see if she really is pregnant, there is no way to see if she fell, was pushed, or just sat down. Regardless of what you think, this video shows nothing. >> A little different than Hamas' cousin's videos, that leave little left to interpetation.

I saw that original video back before NBC 'fixed' it with 20 minutes of interviews and commentary.

She was completely devastated she wasn't devastated.

That said, I don't give a flyin' fawk about either side in that little pissing match. I hope all religie nutjobs kill each other off so we can all live in peace.

Maybe if they didn't keep people locked up in a large scale prison camp,.........those people wouldn't become so desparate that they become willing to blow themselves to pieces in order to retaliate,.........jus' sayin'.

Saw a guy standing near the bridge on E Wishkah this weekend with a sign that read;

We could go back and forth on this all day Hank. I don't have the time today,.....or the desire. Much like Irie said,....both sides can eliminate each other for all I care. They'd be doing the world a favor.

Israel made their bed with Hamas when they decided to create the organization as a alternative to the PLO many years ago. Both the Arabs and the Persians have used the Palestinians as nothing more than a political tool. Neither have done anything to help the deplorable situation there. It's a history filled with empty promises used to gain themselves popular support. That said, should it be any suprise that Palestinians elected the only organization who appears to be fighting for any semblance of freedom for them?

We constantly state that we want to promote democracy in the ME. Then when we don't like the results of the elections we cry foul? Can't have it both ways. On top of that collectively punishing a group of people for electing a certain gov't is not only immoral it's illegal under international law.

This is the biggest debate of our time and should be met with compassion, diligence and reason . To ignore, be silent and not willing to listen to all sides of this debate will eventually lead us into accepting the miserable consequences of our own ignorance. We are witness to just a bit of the misery and suffering associated with this issue in our daily lives. It could be at the grocery counter, or at a dead friends memorial for their ultimate sacrifice; but believe me this is the elephant that taking a $heit in the salad bowl at the dinner table that some will pretend to not see. As a free people, we have the authority and personal responsibility for making morale decisions that represent ourselves on all levels; be it spiritual, morale, humane.

As fisherman we do more than just go to the water to catch fish. We go there to think, to meditate and to help us to see how we can be better human beings, for our selves, our families, our community as well as the rest of the World. At least those are some of the reasons and values that my father introduced me to while fishing. I would also add to those, a willingness and understanding of the purpose for understanding the importance of all life; especially human life, and a desire to learn the how to's of sustaining it, as well as our planet for our kids and their future.

To say that they have been at it for thousands of years, while supporting the continuances of the misery and suffering associated with it, in funding (Taxes) one side against the other is a cop out. Especially when it's your money that is helping to fuel and fund one side's military, in producing a greater body counts. The ignorance starts at home if that is your final answer or choice. If you differ, then a narrative with better clarity and purpose would be much more appropriate in my opinion.

Personally, I am appalled at Israel's policies. Have been since they came out in support of Apartheid, by offering to supply Nuclear Weapons to a racist South Africa. Thank God the World community responded and they backed off, or Nelson Mandela would have died in a South African prison, shot by a firing squad as a terrorist, or that we (USA) would have been nuked for our opposition .

The irony of it all is truly unbelievable. Absolutely amazing!
