Actually The Stranger has some great writers. I just finished a fine, in-depth article there about BBQ and its various regional diffrences.

Never understood how any one can justify the stranger as a legitamate news source. Sure, they have some great articles, they also seem to be getting a huge source of their advertising income from the promotion of prostitution. Years ago, before I had ever heard of the paper, I grabbed a free copy of it off a corner stand. Opened up the back page to see a picture of a guy stretching out his dick with the title something along the line, well built man for hire. I was going to leave it in my freinds car a joke, but decided that nature of the ads were so disgusting I couldn't do that to him. Felt like washing my hands just from holding it. I remember thinking about how any kid could grab copy of any corner. The guys running it are involved in racketeering, no question about it. Bet if I just copied one of their ads and started handing it out, I would be in jail before the end of the day. Every time I hear some politican giving them an interview it really pisses me off.
