Have an 8' slide-in Im about to sell. It debuted at Sol-Fly, its inaugural overnighter.

Anyone know the best websites or consignment outfits to go through?

I'd post more but then it'd look more like an ad.

Believe it or nor Ebay is a good place to look as well. I looked there to see about how much the camper I wanted was worth. I ended up buying mine from a guy in Edmonds that had it listed on EBay.

You can do a search on previous sale prices on e-bay for any item. It will give you a good place to start.

If you are planning on going on vacation anywhere and can bring the camper, put your ad on C-list in all of the places along your route. I bought a sailboard from a guy in San Diego a couple of weeks ago. He advertised in Ptland because he was going there on vacation.

Bleh. sick

I sold a TV on CL once. That was enough. FYI never, ever post your ph# on a CL add. We had tweekers calling every 15 minutes from about 1AM until 3AM when we yanked the add. Then when the d*ckhead showed he bitched b/c it was dusty and wanted to give me 1/2 price.

Kraigslist? Nein Danke!

I'll prolly just put 'er on RV Trader, but I'll put an add here first when it's time to sell.

Thanks for the advice.

I know that Craigslist sucks... and there are a bunch of dipsh!ts on it... but I sold a 9.5' camper and a 25' travel trailer both on it... and got my full asking price for both.

We put them both in the Little Nickel and the RV Trader too first... and didn't get much response from either. 2 or 3 days on CL and I had legit buyers.

I guess it all comes down to how fast do you want to sell it and what are you willing to go through to get full price.

Craigslist, for the entertainment factor.

I was selling 11 chords of wood, by the chord, etc. One guy wanted me to deliver him 30 pieces of wood so he could go camping. The delivery was 20 miles away, one way.
