so i really want to build a brick bbq/smoker in the back yard, i have a big cement slab on witch to build said fire machine, something not too big maybe a 30 inch grill, i've seen some plans online but there all lame or the links don't work

any body ever build one or have plans for one? where to start?

That's why you use fireblocks to line all the hot spots.

My outdoor kitchen plans just got a little bigger. That will look good next to the wood oven.

It's the best hands down my grandfather built one 30 plus yrs ago, I cried when it was torn down. But it produced some of the finest smoked fish and while your smoking fish you can bbq. I'd recomend one to anyone great investment ours was still working fine after 30 yrs also the brick stores the flavor and sweats when it gets warm. You just cant beat it.
