Built it, fished it twice and didn't like it. I'll let it go for $275 I made it with SiC guides. Came out nice.

I've seen the rod. It's awsome. I would buy it but I just had him do my third sage and don't have another in the budget for awhile. Jerry does a beautiful job on rods and you know if he built that one for himself it's close to perfect!!!

Why didn't you like it? How does that fish compared to the 290?

Too light on the sensitivity side. I like more feel.
