The following picture is a small inventory of "stuff" that is used by me to "chase and try to catch" Silvers in Region 6....every lure, spoon, twitching jig, spoons and spinners has caught fish, at one time or the other for me........newest weapons are the twitching jigs, while I missed the 2009 September - late November fishery, I did get to fish the December 2009, Silvers/Coho in Region 6........if i told you how many fish I caught during that "cold spell" and before the river blew out, you'd think I was "b.s'ing". Pink plugs got a few but the twitching jigs got "lot's"
[img:left][/img]

Hope this helps some of you with a general picture of things that will work......now just have to "get the rivers open" and the rains not be "gully washers".

Good luck...stay safe....and hope the fish god's are happy!!!!

Sorry the picture, wasn't bigger but???????

That stuff looks familiar. I pretty much have the exact same arsenal laying on my fishing counter in my garage right now. I can't wait until Thursday even though I expect it to start out slow.

So lets take this thread to the next level. Lets see how many different pictures of coho with different lures in their mouths people can post.

I'll start with a couple.

Dr Death (old style mag wart).

Hoooochie on a Vibrax

Jig (Pink head/purple body).

Spoons work!

Sometimes Plugs work so well you have to learn how to net doubles at the same time..in this case a red firetiger and a bronze fire tiger plugs:

Ok, note to self..... Take glory shots with lure still in the jaw so I can contribute to this thread. All of my silver shots are just before release or after the wood shampoo.

Man, Abu, you shoot more pictures in a day than I do in a year. I just realized I've only taken, actually a fishing partner took it, one picture of a coho with the lure - or Wog it was - in its mouth in my entire life. Probably cuz it was the first caught on one. Didn't take any other coho pictures the rest of the trip. Or trips since.

I am very sure not all of those caught Coho, but several caught my attention.

Was this a test?

This thread oughtta be proof that a coho is an awfully gullible critter. They'll hit just about ANYTHING that moves.
