Picked up a new Ruger flattop & need some empties. I could trim some 44 mag down, but if you have some new or once fired 44 spl. sitting around "I'll make your day".

My little Charter Arms Bulldog is a hand biter, and those Corbon loads are brutal. Enjoy your new toy. I have .44 special brass, but I'm saving it.

I picked up 100 new W-W cases yesterday & a 50 round box of Double Tap ammo. So I'm good for the time being.


As to enjoying.....roger that.

Unique was a good powder to load with lubed lead bullets. A little dirty, but it was able to handle the speeds I wanted and was ertainly accurate enough.

I use alot of Unique, it is on the sooty side. Have some hard cast 240 gr. lubed keith style bullets, no gas checks on these.


Am thinking about working up a mid-speed load using AA #5. And a hotter one w/ Hodgdon Lil' Gun or 2400.
