HUGE W today...took Hawks plus points but cant say I even expected them to cover much less win in impressive fashion. Game this week against AZ for the division lead is huge, looks like 10am bloody marys on Sunday and a cab ride home from Qwest...GO HAWKS!

Hank, the Hawks ran for over a hundred yards against a good run defense today. The stats don't always tell the whole story. For instance, Gore only had about 35 yards at the mid point of the 3rd quarter. Obviously he ripped a couple long ones to get the numbers up. Lynch didn't have a great day statistically BUT he made a few runs that should have been stopped for no gain and he got 4-5 yards. He gives us a Gore type hard runner that we haven't had here since Dan Doornick.

I think the punter was trying to kick away from Hester, just didn't get it off to the left enough. The hit that Jon Ryan took seconds later was unreal, he just got DRILLED......


I don't know what special team player for the Hawks it was, but he had Hester wrapped up @ the 30 yard-line & should have dropped him hard, dude must play w/ a coat of grease on.

Big, big win for the Hawks. I thought that the game plan they brought was exactly right for the situation. Saw some other things I really liked.

#1 Russel Okung, didn't play perfect, but one-on-one versus Julius Peppers he was the better player.

#2 Beast Mode, does what we haven't had for a long time: Gets 4 yards when we need 2. Made life easier for Forsett.

#3 Bears O-line is a joke.

#4 Seahawks O-line is about 3 levels better than the last 2 years.

#5 John Ryan made some of the best plays in the game, perfect punts, and then made one horrible play not getting that last ball Out of bounds. Then he paid for it.

#6 Hasselback is way more comfortable throwing the slant to M. Williams than D. Branch. Having Williams run slants is genious, once he gets inside the cb, the cb has no chance of jumping in front of him.

#7 Max Hall is going to have a bad week next week.
