Been seeing lots of large bass heading into the shallows on favorite bass lake of mine. Im hoping this means that theyre preparing for the spawn. Or am i to late? Anybody else got any info?

I've been catching wuiet a few in the shallows but still not a bunch, also havn't seen any beds yet. They should start spawning withing the next 2 weeks I would guess.

They spawn real late around here, so know, pre-spawn is awfully good. And if you care about the fish, than don't fish for them on their spawning beds. They have enough troubles with perch and bluegills. Please, leave em alone until post-spawn. Thats the best time, anyway!
