Looking to purchase a wireless headset as a gift for use with Xbox Live. I've heard that Turtle Beach makes a good product, but they have way too many models to choose from and I have no idea what any of the specs mean.

What are other people using?

Basically, I need something that provides him with a good playing experience, but also allows me to keep my sanity by getting rid of the explosions and machine gunfire I currently hear in surround sound each evening.

I've got the 31's and they are great. A buddy swears by the x4's, but to me the price difference it aint worth it. You cant go wrong w/ Turtles, the majority of of people playing online use em for a reason.
