For those of you who are new or don't know me yet I wanted to let you know that I can get you information on lakes and streams in southwest Washington. I cover Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Lewis, Skamania and Wahkiakum counties for all resident fish. If you need anadromous fish info and can usually get my hands on that as well.

You can email, post a request here or contact me directly at (360) 906-6706.

Hi Stacey,
How come of the 6 reqions in the State, you are the only WDFW person that participates in these forums? How can we get other WDFW personnel invloved? I really appreciate your contributions and the information you provide, but wish similar information was available for the rest of the State. Keep up the good work!

Hi Traut -

I get asked this question a lot and I am never sure how to answer it. The best way is to state that my supervisor John Weinheimer (one of the BEST resident fish bio's in the state) is very supportive of using this type of forum for getting information on our program out.

So a year or so ago I started hanging out in the old forum and answering as many questions as I could, getting info out on our trout plants and giving help in whatever other way I could.

I feel I work for you guys as much as I do for the resource so, when you have a request for information, I want to be there to make sure you get it.

I have met a lot of great anglers here and even managed to meet a few of you at the sportsman show earlier this year! That was pretty cool.

Stace,
you say there are monster catfish in Kress lake? How big are they? I grew up only a couple miles from that lake, i even remember when it 1st opened. Anyway, i'm just curious on how big those catfish are?
Thanx smile
