What's the best way to clean and cook perch? I'm thinking about going out to Lake Washington and trying to catch a few, and would like to know the best way to dress and prepare them.
Thanks!

1 CATCH EM' ANYWHERE NEXT TO WEED LINE. 2 FILLET EM' 3 TAKE A PACK(S) OF SALTINE CRACKERS AND EITHER SMUSH THEM WITH A ROLLING PIN OR PUT THEM IN THE BLENDER TO MAKE CRUMBS. 4 MIX UP SOME EGGS AND MILK, LIKE YOU WERE MAKING SCRAMBLED EGGS. SEASON TO TASTE W/ GARLIC, PEPPER ETC.
5 DREDGE FILLETS IN EGG MIX, THEN IN CRACKER CRUMBS, REPEAT IF YOU WANT THICKER BREADING ON FILLETS,
DEEP FRY AT 375 DEGREES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, OR PAN FRY.

Hi Traut,
Did your brother tell you of our outing to Sekiu? We didn't catch many monsters, but we did take home 20 coho. Last weekend brother-in-law, my dad, myself and my son hunter got into the big silvers. Biggest was 15.8 pounds! Now that is a fish!
See you later, Andy

Saw 7 cows and calves in my tag unit that opens up in October. I get to hunt ALL of October for a cow. This will be the first year I use a shotgun, firearms restriction area. Nice to hear the reports, and hey, STOP SHOUTING! Andy
