If any one is looking for a great opportunity to capture some Chums check out Flaming Geyser Park on the Green River. They won't be the best for the dinner table or even the smoker. The only thing that will be a smokin' will be your reel.

I fished there this morning and in 2 1/2 hours I caught and released 12 Chums averaging 10 lbs.

HI Carl,
I'm planning on taking my brother fishing this Wednesday. Is it much of a hike to the fishing area (he has an artificial leg)? Could you e-mail me with the particulars, directions, gear, etc? I was thinking of taking him up to Reiters but this could be a good alternate as the goal is just to get him into some fish. His skills are limited (not a regular fisherman).
Thanks!

What can I say......I caught some fish, caught some more fish, and just when I thought I was done and ready to go home to get some lunch I caught more fish! The Green @ Flaming Geyser is "lousy" with fish. :p

Raincity, I see and know what you are talking about! Yes, a lot of the fish are pre-smoked. Good sporting though! Not good for the table. Every once in a while you might hook one that is still in good shape. Heck, I just enjoy being able to hook into 10 lb Chums at will!
