Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for me. I recently have developed a roll in my line while casting. The line seems to roll instead of getting that compact U shape and laying out flat. Never had a problem until last summer. Tried to compact my stroke but that didnt help. Also tried to pause a little longer on the back-cast. no dice. Anybody have any ideas?

oh yeah, please dont beat me down like the last angler that posted on this page. jk.

I don't know if this is the answer you are looking for, try casting side arm. Once you get the hang of casting side arm you can toss your offerings in tight quarters. This is really nice when you have trees and shrubs or other people behind you.
