I talked to Mike at Mardon resort and he said it's pretty slow right now. I went over for the Mar. 1st opener and did well at Hamptons and N. teal, we could have limited both days. As the weather warms the fishing should pick up quick.

I just read off the Mardon website, that they are going to release like 50,000 trout on the 4th of Apr. That should make for some Quick fishing on the main resevoir. I may be able to go over on the 4th and 5th, if I can I'll be driving a green chevy Z-71 with a winch on the front and a matching canopy. I might also be towing a 15' smokercraft with a 25 yamaha. Maybe we can hook up and do a little fishing on the 5th. P.S. Mardon has a good website with a weekly fishing report, look it up under the Grant co. lake index.

If the trout are as big as the past, I think the average size was about 12" with a some bigger.
