Mike, I have read your dilemma and....I am with you, brother! For a long time I have wondered if after death we are put through all the pain that we have caused god's creatures. For every fish we too are yanked in the mouth by a hook in the great beyond. What satisfaction can be had at such a great expense of one of this planets creatures. Who are we, with our big brains, to deal such slaughter. To tire an animal by yanking it to exhaustion with sharp steel in it's face. What horror they must feel!
I am glad to see someone come around to this realization on a fishin website, I can only hope that others will see the sick folly of our ways. Join us in peace, fellow fishermen!!

Mike, I know you will be needing to relieve yourself of some of that devils gear you have stored up. If I can stop by and pick it up from you I will be sure that it comes to a bad end!

Well Chuck, good to see you have seen the Way and are joining the Brotherhood of the Fish. I can not take you up on the offer of giving you my fishing gear. For I have taken all of it - rods, reels, lures, everything, and I ran it all over with my truck. It is now a mangled mass of junk. No longer will it kill or injury innocent fish. What release! What joy in my heart, to know the fishes are safe from my evil ways. Tommorrow I may feel different, but on this Special Day I feel truly free and one with the fish.
