Leavenworth is the perfect place to score points with the sweetie and to get in some good steelhead fishing. I drop my wife at the hotel at about 12:00 and head on out to the Wenatchee. Year before last was really good with lots of fish around. One afternoon I landed three steelhead on flies while the wife shopped. What's better that that? I landed this one on the Wenatchee last Oct. BTW my guide friend says they ar having 8-12 fish days right now. Yeah they are dark, but they fight pretty well and its a really fun river to fish. In September the fish are pretty nice looking and really put on a show in the warm water.

Cross country skiing is pretty fvckin' gay. Year 'round. The outfits they wear remind me of the movie, "Dumb and Dumber"... Keith

Women do love that place. I ended up doing the Aqualung thing....grabbed a newspaper and found a park bench.
If you really like that sort of thing, then you must go to Martha's Vineyard or better yet, Nantucket. Here, benches are conveniently placed outside the shops. No steelhead but there are stripas around.
Whatever you do, please, never hold/carry the purse in public or risk permanent Man Card revocation.

Martha's Vineyard is WAY nicer than Leavenworth. When we were there it was blowing a steady 40-50mph wind. The Nantucket route was cancelled for the day.

Cross country skiing seems gay to Irie and others because it burns more calories in one hour than the lard assed critics burn in a week, maybe two. Cross country skiing burns 500 calories an hour easily. Irie burns 500 calories a month tipping beers and typing [censored] on the internet.
Sg i'm the only one on this site who feels that 99% of what Sg posts is total BS!!! others seem quite taken with his stuff. however this qoute is they very best ever!!! good job Sg.. i love the tipping beers back and typing [censored]... this is the very best work by Sg EVER!!! good job.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

I'm not sure that fly guys are qualified to judge gayness.
Just sayin'.

Brewer thanks, I guess, for your opinion that I am in a postion to judge gayness. I realy don't think I am as I have zero expience with the gay world. You however seem to be an expert, so I defer to you judgment.

hardly a zing, more of a attempt to reply. but i respect your rules of volley dave, unlike others who prefer to be brosque. dave just messn with those who write book(s) on bobber fishen. i hardly in any way mentioned your name. back on subject, leanworth is strictly a devised commercial ploy for women.

back on subject, leanworth is strictly a devised commercial ploy for women. Yep, but . . . . its one of the few places you can take a nonfishing partner, and make them very happy, while you go enjoy a day of steelheading. And as I mentioned, recnetly the steelheading has been excellent. That's my idea of a win win.
