Fox News,........... We Deceive, You Believe.
Would also be a nice little mantra for MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, NPR, HuffPo, Slate, The Nation, WaPo, NY Times, Yahoo, AP, Reuters, Drudge, AOL,........and any other main stream snot rag of a news outlet you can think of.

...or CBS. They all have an agenda and could care less about the truth. FOX is just as annoying and self serving as any of'em. http://www.bostonherald.com/news/opinion/op_ed/view.bg?articleid=1317384“[60 Minutes] correspondent Lara Logan was repeatedly sexually assaulted by thugs yelling, ‘Jew! Jew!’ as she covered the chaotic fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo’s main square Friday.” Powerful reporting on an important story. Two problems: It didn’t run until yesterday, and CBS didn’t run it. The quote is from the New York Post. And it was The Wall Street Journal that reported “the separation and assault lasted roughly 20 to 30 minutes

2 with a twist. The Tea party thinks Fox is biased against them. Is this why the leader of the T-baggers is a Faux Newz host? The Tea Parties emblem should be a circular firing squad. Today they anounced they have their sights on three republican senators, one of whom has a very conservative voting record.

I just wish they'd get it over with and split from the Repubs and officially start their new party -- The Grand Tea Party.

Lugar, Hatch, and Snowe,.................... and you has a problem with this? Good riddance IMO. Should also be noted Dave that in the real world outside of what you consume in newspapers and "news" shows concerning the Tea Party. There are most definately two distinct brands. A libertarian brand concerned about civil liberties, taxes, and militarism across the globe. Also a neoconservative Dick Armey brand concerned about getting republicans elected, even if it means sacrificing their first born. Suddenly after the election in 2008 they magically rediscovered the Constitution when it comes to spending and taxes yet are phucking clueless when it pertains to undeclared warfare and destruction of the 4th ammendment. There's a big difference between the two and their political philosophy.

SW Wrong again. You have zero idea what I read and watch. I was going to say that I likely read and watch a good bit more than you, but then I would be making an assumption with no basis in fact, like you just did. I never watch MCNBC, seldom watch Fox. I prefer that my news outlets at least try to appear unbiased. I do watch BBC a good bit and read many various Internet news sites and blogs. plus I read a great deal.

My apologies. Perhaps I should have layed out the context a little more clear. I was referring to "you" in the collective sense. Perhaps "what one reads in newpapers and sees in news shows" would have been more appropriate. Regardless, my comment was more directed towards your comment which described the Tea Party in generalities often parroted by main stream news outlets while ignoring the fact that the movement is anything but a homogenous grouping of toothless Republican knuckledraggers (even though it appears to have been co-opted by many that fit that description). To the contrary, many who would describe the themselves as subscribers to the Tea Party phenomenon hold as much contempt for Republicans as they do Democrats. A general dissatisfaction for our worn-out political process in whole. Which I would think would describe the majority of Americans right now. It's probably better that you didn't take the route of proclaiming you watch and read a good bit more than me. I consume more news and read a bit more than I would really like to admit

Liberals complaining about a point of view that is different from theirs is indicative of how non-liberal they really are. I thought liberals were open to ALL points of view.
How long did this country go without a voice that leans towards a conservative point of view?
Now FOX News is part of the mainstream media and the lefties have their panties all twisted up because some one actually has questioned their "enlightened minds".
I am starting to to get liberals mixed up with the conservatives.
Consevatives have always been thought of as "close-minded"(and for good reason) but the Libs are starting to sound like a bunch of whiners(and for good reason)
If one does not like FOX news dont watch it! If one does not like the New York Times dont read it!
I am glad that there is now a newssource willing to take on the Times and I am just as happy that the Times is there to keep an eye on FOX...neither of those news outlets are capable of being totally non-biased...both are very important in getting out information that the other may omit from their forum.
If you want your news served up on a left-leaning platter you have that option and if you like your news served up with conservative trimmings that is now also available...what the hell is the problem?

In the 50's and 60's they called it the evil propaganda machine of the communist party, they regularly solicited donations to Radio Free Europe, now it's here and they call it Fox News. We have met the enemy and they is us.
