I have a 3 year old Casio Boulder GZ1 that is waterproof/shockproof. Love the phone but the battery's toast. Trying to have my local Verizon store order another battery but they aren't sure they can get one.

Casio's replacement for the Boulder is the Ravine C751 which is also waterproof/shockproof but the reviews and customer replies I've read are about 3 to 1 negative. Phone seems to have quite a few bugs that the Boulder did not.

Sooooo.....can anyone recommend something else that's waterproof that they've had good luck with? I'm not big on texting or bells and whistles; just want a simple, functional phone to make calls with.

Thanks.

Eric----The is a store called battery mart or something like that...anyway they should have the battery for your phone. There is one in Lynnwood and Everett and a couple other locations.

Good luck.

Eric,
I've got a clean Verizon Casio Rock with original box, charger & manuals that I'd be willing to part with. Shoot me a PM if interested.....

I also have this phone and about the same age. It has been dropped, taken a swim at the launch and hosed down numerous times in the rod trays and still works without a glitch. I will run this phone till it dies. Have never had a phone last as long as this one.

Row.......Thanks. I'll check it out.

Driftin......Thanks also but I'm going to try and get the battery replaced
first. Failing that, I may contact you.

Sidedriftin.......I have the same sentiments about the phone; precisely
why I want to keep it. Just need to find a battery!!
Thanks for the link.
