Well I wanted to see Tony Wrotten versus Delonte Lacy but that is not to be. Curtis got the job done today against Davis but Garfield and Tony Wrotten couldn't seal the deal.

Curtis vs Gonzaga Prep tomorrow night at 9:30pm for the state championship. Should be a good game.

I just hope all the players stow the weed for the night and put the team ahead of getting high for another day. smile

Prep handled Curtis pretty easily I thought...didn't get to see Sarbaugh and Wroten go at it, but Sarbaugh certainly got the better of Lacy in the final. Nice to see the cream of the crop Wroten (UW), Lacy (WSU), Bell and Sarbaugh (Zags) are all staying in state and will meet again. Too bad Kingma decided on Oregon...

I can't say that I thought Sarbaugh got the best of Lacy. They are two very different players, Sarbaugh isn't near the athlete that Lacy is and Sarbaugh's surrounding cast was much better than Lacy's. GP is a very solid team on both ends of the floor and what is even more impressive to me is how and who they beat to get to the finals, all the while only playing 6 players.
