Half of the band that rocked the hut for so many years is dead. Layne and now Mike have passed away shootuing up H. Very sad.

Sad day. Really thought he was going to pull out of it and stay clean.

A friend of mine used to hang out with Mike but had to eventually severe all ties with him due to the drug lifestyle. Zach knew I was an Alice fan so he introduced me to Mike one night. We were going to attend the Layne Staley benefit show that his mother Nancy puts on every year but when we got to the door at the Showbox, Nancy came out with one of the bouncers and said Mike was forbidden to enter the venue! She was one seriously mad chick so Mike took a cab and we went in.

Kind of an interesting situation to experience.

Supposedly Starr was doing drugs with Layne Staley at his condo on the day Layne died. That's probably why she didn't want him around.

Sad, but can't say that I am too shocked.

It's easy to picture Danny hanging out with AIC guys isn't it?

Still one of my favorite bands of all time and glad Jerry is still with us at least.
