I'm new to this forum, and it's great to be here. I'm new to Wa and Bellevue (King Co), but not new to fishing.

I am wondering if anybody has any experience fishing these two lakes, especially Phantom. They are small park lakes, and are located in the Lake Hills area of Bellevue.

What I know or have heard is this...There are large crappie and good bass. Car toppers, inflatables, and tubes are allowed in Phantom, but not Larson. There seems to be very little fishing pressure in either lake.

Sounds like I just need to get out there and give
it a try, but I am curious to hear any tips, stories, tackle/bait/color choices to use, and maybe areas to concentrate on.

These lakes are minutes from my home, and I would like to master them if the fish are there. Perhaps no one fishes them, because there are too few fish?

Thanks in advance,
Suzanne

Hello Gal Fryday and welcome to the BB. Hopefully you'll get enough info about everything to get you started but what I can remember that it is spinyray lake. If you feel the need to take on some trout either from a small boat or the dock close by, should go over to Issaquah to Pine lake. But if you have a larger boat, then ought to go where some of the big boys play and try Lake Wash. In either case there are alot of info in the archives and some recently past post...

Phantom Lake is a great little spot,
if you don't mind packing your
cartopper across the park.
Tons of perch! Almost annoying.
Nice size bass too! Stay to the left
of the dock, near the lily pads!
If ya' find the crappie, let me know!

Ken
