Give the guy some credit for Mr Chumly.
I've seen what a bunch of dudes on this board post as 20 pound steelies. If that chum isn't over 20, I'd eat my shorts. JFC... look at the wrist on that thing! Chum have the skinniest wrist of ANY salmonid. That nearly looks like the wrist on a 20# steelhead. And look how freaking "tall" that sucker is from belly to back. Now consider the shrinkage factor due to the pic having been taken with the body between his hands bowing AWAY from the camera (body bowing toward the cam makes it look bigger). The only tempering factor is that we all know mature chum bucks get skinnier from side to side.
I'd give it an honest 22.5.
As for the chrome king, I've got similar pics of a king posed against two guys, as well as that carnal meat hook shot. It weighed 37.5 on a very accurate scale. Archer's fish has a bit longer head, but the visible body proportions are otherwise identical. The wild card is how wide that thing is from side to side.
I'd give it an honest 38.5 pounds. More if it was an exceptional wide-body.
