I've been trying for browns at Pine Lake from shore but have been unsuccesful thus far. Just been using white marshmallows and earthworms off the bottom. I would appreciate any ideas anyone has. Thanks!

I suggest sticking to what you are already using for bait but change the time of day you are fishing for them. Either fish for them early, early morning or late, late in the evening. Browns are very aggressive and will go after just about anything. That has been my experience.

Check out Lacamas Lake fishing report's. I used to fish that lake alot. This time of year with the skier's you want to be there early morning or in the evening. Nice lake after you figure it out. I believe I laid it out pretty well in the report's section. Anyway check it out I'm sure the info will be quite helpful. I've never banked fished there alway's trolled. Let me know how you do. Good Luck!!

Thanks Pelican, I think I'm finally going to be able to hit the Lacamas on Sunday. I think my schedule is freed up enough to hit it early in the morning! I'm thinking maybe like 5 or 6 in the morning to get a few hours in before I have to get home and finish building my fence!

Man, Pelican....everytime I try to get out there I end up having to do something else....but I'll try my luck again early Sunday morning. I have to build a shed this weekend, but I think I might be able to slip out early enough to get some fishing in at the Lacamas. rolleyes

Two more browns, a 15 and a 17 inch, were caught at Pine this mornin by a regular there. One on crawlers, one on crawler/mellow. Both were within 30 feet of the dock, he said... He said one was even on the shallow side of the dock.
Good luck and tight lines
