Vettel crushes the field in Australia

Anyone else here an F1 fan?
Looks like Vettel is going to be the one to beat again.
The young German crushed the field in the opening quali in the 2011 season.

Sure beats the hell outta NASCAR, that's for sure! My reasons:
1. I think the open wheel design looks way more cool than the 4 door sedan design. 2. Being from the Northwest I appreciate the fact they are not afraid to race in the rain. 3. But mostly, I like how they prove they have the ability to make not only left turns, but right turns as well.

Best drivers in the world IMO.
The endurance it takes to finish those races has got to be off the charts.
Closest thing you can do to being a fighter pilot while still being connected to terra firma.

A fan for sure but I would not say they are the best
Win's and speed are bought and paid for in technology.
F1 car's are top shelf but for the most part it's the car not the driver that win's.
Driver's are no doubt very good but I don't think they hold a candle to guy's like James Stewart,Ricky Carmichel (Talk abought conditioning)Kyle Bush,J. Johnson the list go's on these guy's actually RACE each other for the checkered flag not for the best lap time. My 2 cents

NASCAR drivers aren't even in the game. Those pussies park their cars when it rains. That takes you out of consideration immediately. It puts you in the same league as baseball players.
I'd put Supercross riders in the same league as F! drivers, but F1 drivers are seeking hundredths of seconds for 2 HOURS straight. So that means you have to be razor-sharp for that long, as the consequences of a lapse of concentration in F! tend to be greater than in SuperX.
Glad to have to cars back on track. Pretty good opening race this season.

F1 is for elitists, hell I'll bet there's not even any Bud Ice or Steele High Gravity Beer consumed during one of those races. F1 is some good stuff! Supercross is up there for me as well! Gotta love our WA boy Villapoto tearing it up! Keith

How can anyone watch racing that doesn't have "competition yellows" ....
Glad to see F1 fans here. I had been a huge prototype fan until Can-Am essentially banned the 917/30, but the Audi diesel sparked (poor choice of words) my interest again.

I like the tradition of the tifosi. At least from a distance ...
But going to Le Mans is on the bucket list to see the prototypes. Curse Steve McQueen and his damn movie ...

Petrov looked impressive. Renault needed him to step up after what happened to Kubica.........and he did.
Spa was on my bucket list, Walt..........so I went there and saw them while they were still running the V-10's. Simply awesome. I actually thought my ears would bleed.

The Porsche TAG turbo F1 engine. 1.5 liters 1100 bhp in qualifying trim. Want.

Once again, the young German dominates the field, at Istanbul this time. McLaren looked like they might challenge the RB7 for the top of the podium over the last couple races, but Vettel was on cruise control this time around. Straight dominance. McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault had better get their sh!t together, or Vettel is going to have the WDC in the bag mighty early.
