i am selling my model 94 30/30 it letters to july 17, 1897. it is not original as i have been told it was re-barreled in 1913. the mag has been shorten to 4 shell. it is a good shooter i have killed several deer and bear with it. last used on a bear hunt i the late 60's. the stock was broken and repair but i have not shoot it sense. i have a replacement stock for it that needs a little fitting. asking 500 for rifle and new stock plus shipping.do not need to ship to ffl. i can send pictures if wanted. ss#24,047

2400.00 on gunbroker for unaltered. 500 would be a decent price for someone who wants a little American history in there hands. Good luck to you.

Thats pretty cool. My dad has a 1950's vintage M-94 in 32 spl.

Thing shoots just fine, took it out to the range & put my 1st 3 shots on a 4" bull @ 100 yards w/ old factory ammo. Blew me away when I looked thru the spotting scope.

That was my first rifle - the 94 in 32 special octagon barrel. Got one brand new in 1956. Hunted with it for about ten years. Now I can'tt remember where it went. Sure wish i had it still.

Sweet, I wish you had it too they are very nice rifles.

Pops & I dusted his off last summer, on a whim I put the rear sight tang all the way up to the top setting & went to work @ the back end of his home range off a benchrest, now thats 330 yards out. There is an old tire on that back berm & I'll be danged if that 94 didn't put em right in there.

Was shooting some reloads I whipped up w/ a 170 grain Hornaday @ 2200 fps. It wasn't 1/2MOA precision shooting like my .243 varmint rifle w/ 24X scope & bipod........

..but it sure was fun
