grrrr. Sunday, 12:30 pm, back at my computer and just read about the sockeye. Do I have the energy to take my boat over and fish? With a 3 hour time lag and no sleep on a cramped jet all night? Not likely...

Take a nap and hit the water later. You can fish till an hour after sunset. BTW, the whole lake is open not just south of 520.

Just got back. Fished from 3pm to 6pm. Launched out of Coulon, not too bad (my wife took the truck and picked us up later via cell phone). We caught 3, 2 huge males and one jack. Lost one other. Saw fish being caught to the end but it died for us at 4:30. I used the red and flow. pink. The flow pink had 3 fish (one lost) at 75 feet. I'll post a report later for future reference. Not as many boats as I thought there would be.

Pink sure did do the trick for us today. It is now my color of choice for sockeye.

Good you were able to get out for a while, didn't take long to get fish did it.

I took todays catch over to my sisters for my nephews B-day and feed the whole crew. Everyone loved it.
