It looks like all of lake washington is open to fish for sockeye when the season starts. I read the description as a line directly south of webster point that all areas east of that are open. I am not sure exactly where webster point is I think it is the one with the big whirly gig that flashes in the sun . If this is the correct spot it will be the first time I can remember it being open north of the 520 bridge.

That is Webster Pt. I would imagine that is where the crowd will be.

This is directly from the wdfw website I know it has allways been south of 520 in the past. But I did not see any mention of it.
Location: Lake Washington waters east of a line extended true south from Webster Point. Closed to fishing within 100 yards either side of Hwy. 520 and I-90 floating bridges, and additionally, closed within 1,000 feet of the Cedar River mouth.

The whole lake is open east of Webster Pt. That will take some pressure off of the southern launches.
