As you may know, I am trialing anti-spam software. So far I think it is working, but I'm not sure what is or isn't coming through. That's where I need your help. I need about five people to send me test fishing reports and e-mails. For the header on the e-mail and fishing reports just type in TEST(your first name) and include an e-mail address on the report form. If you encounter any problems or I don't respond to your test e-mail and report then I would like you to post a message on this thread to that effect.
My spam has decreased dramatically but of course my concern is are people having difficulty e-mailing me or sending in reports? Thanks in advance to whoever wants to give me a hand here.

hey where do you get that software?? I hate spam!! I gotta get ahold of that program! I came home from a WEEKEND fishing trip... gone for like, two days... and I have 167 emails waiting. After deleting ALL the spam (I thought anyways), I had about 13 emails. Ahh... The great world we have come to live in.

Software is called ChoiceMail.
I've had it running properly for about 36 hours now and have filtered out 35 spam messages and have recieved only the mail I want to recieve. In other words, it's working great so far! It did take me a few trials to get it set up properly. But I made it harder than it should have been (as in not reading the directions first )
Anyway, it costs $29.95 after a 14 day free trial so you should check it out. You do need to be running Outlook Express, Outlook, or Eudora. Doesn't work for AOL.

Mike, i sent you that pic of the big Mackinaw and a few others too. Tell me if they got through or not because i replied to the LAKER ATTACK mail we have been sending back and forth.

Arrrgh I only got AOL! Maybe I can get outlook express hooked up... hmmmm...

You should still check out the web site, they may update the product for AOL soon. Still no spam and the reports are coming in just fine. This software is the real deal.
I actually felt a moment of guilt when first setting it up - like I was doing something wrong to block all that garbage. No more!
