anybody fish riffe lake?
looking for some suggestions on what to fish for and where.
I have a boat but no downriggers.

It's been quiet on the report front for Riffe this year.

hmmm wonder if thats good or bad. I know the water is high not sure how that will effect the fishing.

Was down at Riffe in June. Did OK on kokanees using the old popgear w/ wedding ring/white corn or maggot rig. Troll close to surface. My partner used a tiny dodger w/ a green fly tipped w/ maggot, and did better than me and didn't have the drag of the pop gear. Saw some rainbows(I think) caught by guys using the pop gear set up but with worms.

Suprisingly, most of the fish we caught were during mid morning to early afternoon (10 am-2pm). Not much happened early, and the wind was blowing pretty good later on.
