I have been limiting out all week with practically the same technique at my favorite lake. I mean it has been EASY to! They have been slamming my line like there is no tomorrow!

So why did I spend 10 hours out there today with only one rainbow (it was alright in size... but ONE!) who hardly even touched it?

The only thing different about today was I think the overcast in the morning... And I really wasnt fishing much in the morning. So whats going on?!

Don't worry about it man! Don't think you can go out and "tear it up" every day. Be realistic. I have fished long enough to know you can "tear it up" one day and get skunked the next. Just write off the bad days and remember the days you do really good.

So, Big Voodoo Daddy.... I have read your inputs on Deep Lake and I have been out there 3 different times fishing from the dock, using a slip bobber, going deep, using a worm and a bit of power bait and I have not even got a BITE. So, I must ask where is the science? Or where are the fish? It must all be in the timing.

Just keep at it... I dunno but the kokes are for some reason slowing today and yesterday. I've never had a fishery be so hot and in ONE day with the weather practically the same just go dead.

I went out today and had to bows in about 1 1/2 hours. People were trying the usual, from worms to power bait, and not getting much, so I put on a few eggs, half a worm, and a tiny bit of power bait to top it off. I got those two bows before it was off to work.
