Had a good day trip with M.B on sunday. Caught a few little brookies . Watched my bigfatblacklab make friends with M.B. All in all a good trip up the little Wenatchee.

I'm surprised you found enough water up there to catch some fish. I bear hunted up there a number of years ago and thought the upper reaches were too skinny for fish.

Were you lower down?

ZL - We were lower down. Water was crystal clear and there were deeper spots, but not a lot of structure. I'm more used to rivers, streams with rocks, riffles, etc. It's nice country. We headed up the dirt road back to Hgy. 2. A lot of blueberry pickers.
TM - Got the 2 wt all rigged up, now I just gotta find the time to use it! How was that garlic? Thanks for the road trip.

Zen, we were at rainey creek where it dumps into the Lil wenatchee. The fish were small but alot of fishey water , if we had stayed for a hatch later in the day we might have done better. I want to explore that area more. Maybe I'll have to take Micro brew agian so he can maybe try to get more fish than me.

Micro Brewski, the garlic was passed out at work yesterday afternoon. It was a hit with all that tried it and hated by those that didnt try it. Good on the two weight. Lets try it out this weekend ? if you dont go east.

TM. I thought that you just liked to fish lakes, and stayed away from skinny water. Skinny water is my favorite way to fish. With flies of course.

Old Man:

He's trying to broaden his horizons.

Got the 2 wt all set up, so I'm ready for some of those skinny water places. This is kind of the doldrums for most lakes, except the high stuff. Cn't wait for those temps to start dropping.

The Trout Master is quite talented and can do many things. Yes I would like to spend more time on rivers , but the skinny waters I have to stay away from as my dog is too FAT!
