Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about the Pautzke pond area of the Green river....Any info would be greatly appreciated...I hear its good fishin in that general area.

Never heard of the pautzke pond area. Maybe Palmer?

By the way, anyone have any luck on the Green lately?? I hit Metzler park the other day and the water was like a foot deep everywhere, TOO low...

I have been fishing the green for 36 years and havent heard of any pautzke pond. Only thing I can think of is the pond in kent next to the river off meeker st. I think it is a kid only fishin in the pond. A good plunkin area when the water is a little higher. Probably some stealhead hiding thru the gorge area icy creek up stream to the park. If you like to hike you can access the area in many places. I know I have just about killed myself trying to get to a couple of great holes down in the bottom. but if you explore around their are some trails that will take you down to the bottom of the gorge. If you drive out of black diamond headed to the gorge bridge cross it and when you get near the top of the hill past the hippie commune their is a sharp left. If you go strait you will come to the icy creek hatchery area. If you take the left you will come to a power lines. you have to park by the road now but we would drive down them and then off onto the spur roads park and follow the trails down to the river I know of at least 4 diffent roads down in their that will get you to some nice deep fishin holes the fish will lay in when the river gets low.

I wouldn't go to any of these places nope fished out. I have hit them all. I have already spooked them out of there................... and sent them to spoon man.
